tablecloth dress (another one)

If I’d thought even a little bit about ’styling’ this photoshoot I would have 1. tidied the lounge room 2. polished the mirror and 3. stopped the baby from plunging her hand down my front. The mirror is one of my favourite possessions, salvaged for me by my dad when I still lived at home. It deserves a polish every now and again. My dress is made from a tablecloth and pattern from this Japanese book (ISBN 4579110439). That one on the cover. It’s a cinch to make.

I am still chuckling to myself here…. why is it that our little miracles always have a hand down our tops or up our skirts and how amazingly multi skilled us women really are with a bub in one hand and a camera in the other.
Love the dress by the way!

I have that book and was thinking of making that dress. It’s nice to see how it looks on a person instead of a hanger :)

Love the accessory (so cute - even if she does have her hand down your front) and that zig-zag blanket way in the back - it’s so colourful. Is there a pattern?
